A friend once called me “a great communicator” — and it’s true. I thrive on connecting with others and sharing experiences.
From the boardroom to the classroom
Before I became an English teacher, I spent more than twenty years working in corporate sales, development and training. I’ve delivered presentations to packed conference rooms, negotiated contracts, run training programmes and managed teams. That experience means I understand the real-world pressures my business English students face — because I’ve lived them myself.
For the past ten years I’ve supported learners through one-to-one and small group sessions. Whether you’re preparing for IELTS exams, getting ready for a university interview, relocating to England, or simply wanting to improve your everyday conversation skills — I tailor every session to your needs and help you build the confidence to use English naturally.

I’ve had a home in Spain for more than two decades. That means I know first-hand what it feels like to navigate everyday life in a second language — the frustration when you can’t find the right word, the anxiety of a phone call you’re not sure you can handle, and the breakthrough moment when a conversation just flows.
That experience shapes everything I teach. I’m not just explaining grammar rules from a textbook. I understand the emotional side of learning a language, and I build my lessons around building genuine confidence — not just knowledge.

How bespoke courses work
Every bespoke course starts with a 30-minute consultation where we discuss your goals, your background and what you want to achieve. From there, I create something tailored specifically to you.
What happens next
After our consultation, you’ll receive a bespoke quote with a full course outline. If you’d like to go ahead, a one-off course creation fee of £300 applies. This covers the time I spend designing your tailored resources — workbooks, lesson materials, vocabulary guides and any supporting documents. These resources are yours to keep.
Once the course is live, lessons are booked and paid for in the same way as my standard courses. You’ll also have direct access to me between lessons for quick questions, vocabulary help or anything that comes up during the week.
Examples of bespoke courses I’ve created
Landscape Architecture — Individual Student
A student studying for a master’s degree needed help with the specialist English used in her field. I compiled a bespoke workbook based on the academic resources she was working with, covering the specific vocabulary and technical language she needed. This became an ongoing course that supported her throughout her studies — and she could contact me directly during the week whenever she needed help with a word, a phrase or a concept.
Investor Presentations — Group of Three
A cyber-security company with Russian-speaking directors needed to pitch to English-speaking investors. I created a group course for the Chairman, Managing Director and Sales Director, focusing on presentations, handling Q&A sessions and communicating their proposition clearly and confidently in English.
